Before my head explodes....

I need to just make a brain dump here. If it doesn't make any sense to you, don't worry about it. Chances are, it doesn't make sense to me either, but I need to get stuff out of my head so that I can clear enough space to work. Think of this post as cleaning your table before serving dinner.

So where to begin? How about with not knowing where to begin!

I need to generate the images for my social critique project, which my instructor has suggested I do as a comic book for its final print format. I guess that means I need to track down someone in this town who can print full color in that size and bind it into the book format. I need to storyboard a general premise for each "half" to represent its particular point of view, and I need to actually produce the images for those storyboards. To do that, I need an extra set of hands to help set up and push the button for each shot, then I need to process and size the shots, all in digital.

I need to read Dante's Inferno, and select five passages to use as a point of departure for images to be shot then processed as digital negatives for salt prints. I guess here I should select the passages, paste them into a sketchbook then sketch the shot I'd like to make. Afterwards, I'll need to find eight spare hours in the day and use them to actually locate and shoot the shots, process the film and make the prints.

I need to find a topic for my art history paper, begin researching that topic and find out what the hell kind of format "Chicago" is before beginning the actual writing. I need to read the textbook and organize class notes into a more manageable chunk so that I don't walk away from the next exam with another 24/100.

I need to complete a one hundred frame animated *.gif for art and the computer before next Monday, the 8th. Okay, so that one's not so hard since we're using an image we created for another project, but its still time consuming and time seems to be the only thing I have less of than money right now. I think the next thing we're going to be doing is a web page, which I should be able to pop out pretty quick since I already have a mock up for a page that I've been wrestling with for sometime now.

I need to somehow pull extra funds straight out of my ass so that my husband can eat while he's in San Fransisco next week and so that I can keep gas in the car while he's gone. During that same week, I need to find some miraculous way to create time that doesn't exist so that I can actually get all of the above mentioned work done while there isn't anyone available to sit with the kids.

This sucks.
